STRATEGIC LEADER IN HIGHER EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND WORKFORCE INNOVATION
Stephanie Molina is an interdisciplinary leader with experience spanning research, higher education administration, and workforce and economic development.
Her career has focused on leading strategic initiatives, shaping policy, building non-credit programs, and advancing cross-sector strategies that strengthen institutions and expand opportunity. She brings a record of thoughtful leadership grounded in operational expertise, visible accountability, evidence-based decision-making, and a deep commitment to public service. As a workforce education professional, she has partnered with state, regional, city, and community organizations to turn ideas into action, deliver measurable results, and create lasting impact for students, institutions, and communities.
Stephanie is running for the Board of Regents, District 5, to bring that experience to NSHE and help build a higher education system that is more accessible, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves.
Stephanie’s work in workforce development regularly brings her into partnership with state, regional, local, and nonprofit leaders across the Las Vegas Valley to advance training and education initiatives that create pathways to upward mobility. These collaborations have allowed her to work alongside decision-makers, employers, and community organizations on issues that directly affect Nevada’s workforce, economy, and long-term prosperity. That experience has given her a strong understanding of how higher education connects to workforce needs, economic growth, and community priorities, while also building trusted relationships across the sectors that help shape Nevada’s future.
